About the artist: Ukrainian painter, works in the genres of landscape, still life, portrait and thematic paintings.
Anatoly Nikitovich Yanev was born on December 15, 1945 in the village of Mitrofanovka in the Novgorodkovsky district of the Kirovograd region.
In 1974 he graduated from the painting department of the Kiev Art Institute, where he studied under T.N. Golembievskaya and V.V. Shatalina.
Since 1978, takes part in city, republican and foreign art exhibitions.
Yanev A.N. - Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1988.
From 1974 to 1994 he worked in the Kirovograd art-industrial workshops of the Art Fund of Ukraine.
From 1994 to 1996 he taught at the Kirovograd State Pedagogical University. Vladimir Vinnichenko, and from 1996 to 1999 - at the Kirovograd City Art School named after Alexander Osmerkin.
One of the leading artists of the Kirovograd region, the successor of the traditions of Ukrainian classical fine art. The works of Anatoly Nikitovich are marked by the brightness of colors and their harmonious combination. With a confident, laid-back brushstroke, he conveys the diversity of the world in all its manifestations: from the restrained palette of a gloomy winter day to the open colors of the C.n sun.
In 2005, the artist became a laureate of the Kirovograd Regional Prize in the field of fine arts and art history. A. Osmerkin in the nomination "National Tradition".
In 2005 and 2010, the Kirovograd Regional Art Museum hosted Yanev's personal art exhibitions dedicated to the 60th and 65th birthdays of the artist.
In June 2013, by Decree of the President of Ukraine, A. Yanev awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Ukraine".
In October 2013, in the Kirovograd Art Museum-Memorial Museum of A.A. Osmerkin, a personal exhibition of works and a presentation of the catalog “Mysteries of Anatolia Yanva” were held ..
The artist’s works are presented in museums in Kirovograd, in gallery and private collections in Ukraine, Poland, USA, Czech Republic, Germany.
