About the Artist

She was born in Kyiv in 1969. She studied at the Institute of Light Industry in Kyiv, majoring in fashion designer. She started painting in 2015. Exhibitions 2022 - Great Britain, Cambridge 2022 – France, Paris 2022 – France, La Ciotat 2023 – France, Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer 2023 - "Eighth Watercolor Biennale" and many others. Olena Klimenko's works are in private collections in Western and Eastern European countries, the USA, Canada and South America. In his work, he uses various materials, even such unexpected ones as newspaper, packaging materials (cardboard). She creates her works using oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencils and other art materials. Olena has her own unique style. She created a new technique: still life painting on newspaper. The artist prefers watercolor, creating the effect of flight. Some call her a "flying artist". Olena Klimenko has six sons.
