Kovalenko Ivan Mikhailovich, born on March 20, 1953, in Pidgorodn, Dnipropetrovsk region, is a celebrated Ukrainian artist known for his realistic landscapes and still lifes. He graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk State Art College (1972) and the Kharkov Art and Industrial Institute (1981), where he studied under respected mentors such as V. Zagubibatko and E. Zherdzitsky.
