Volodymyr Fedorovich Sidoruk (1925–1997) is a world-famous Ukrainian landscape painter whose works have been presented at leading international auctions and are admired by collectors for their naturalism, expressive color, and lyrical portrayal of Ukraine’s terrain.

Sidoruk’s paintings are distinguished by their harmony of atmosphere, delicate light, and sincere depiction of seasonal mood. His landscapes often focus on forests, hills, lakes, and rural vistas, each scene rendered with both technical precision and emotional warmth. His style combines realism with poetic sensitivity, making his works appealing to both museums and private collectors.

Born on January 3, 1925 in Rzhyshchiv, Kyiv region, Sidoruk studied at the Kyiv Art School, under mentors such as I. Khvorostetsky and Yu. Kiyanchenko. He graduated in 1938, and from then on actively participated in local, republican, and international exhibitions. In 1985 he was awarded the title Honored Artist of Ukraine. His major works include “Lake in Autumn” (1954), “Verkhovyna” (1956), “Early Spring” (1957), “Dovbush Rock” (1961), “Birches” (1965), and several others capturing diverse Ukrainian landscapes.

Sidoruk passed away on December 16, 1997. His paintings are preserved in regional Ukrainian art museums and private collections. Regularly presented at international auction houses, his works remain in demand for their artistic quality, cultural resonance, and timeless lyrical beauty.
