About the artists: Zagorodnyuk Fedor Ivanovich. Born on February 12, 1922, in the village of Guncha, Vinnytsia region. Graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute (1950). Teachers in the specialty: K. Trokhimenko, G. Melikhov. Painter, graphic artist. Author of portraits, landscapes, thematic paintings. He found an original solution for revealing characters in portraits. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (1978). Honored Artist of Ukraine (2008). Awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree (1985), and medals. Worked in the Kherson Association of Artists (1954). Participated in exhibitions: regional, republican, all-Union and foreign (since 1950). Personal exhibitions - in Kherson (1973, 1982, 1992, 1998-1999, 2002, 2007), Kyiv (1998).
