About the artist: Khrapachev Alexander Nikolaevich
Born December 29, 1981 in the city of Kharkov
Grew up in the city of Zaporozhye. From a young age, the artist was seized by a great desire to draw and delve into his inner world for self-knowledge. As a result, he entered the children's art school. Even from school, he began to engage in plein air painting, thanks to the assistance of formed artists. Then he successfully completed several preparatory courses for admission to the Kiev art university. While studying at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in the city of Kiev, in 2000, he entered the Faculty of Painting, studied with such teachers as: L.V. Vitkovsky, I.A. Kovtanyuk, Vyrodova-Gauthier, Sheremet, A.N. Belyansky, T.N. Golembievskaya, A.E. Zorko, A.N. Solid. He paid great attention to the study of the classical school of painting and drawing, the funds of the Academy, forming in the workshop of Professor V.I. Gurin. In the same year he defended his thesis "Temple" with a master's degree and entered the assistant-internship at the Department of Painting under the guidance of V. Gurin, thanks to which he continued his creative searches in the boundless world of art. Since 2008, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine in Kiev.
