Andriy Kotska — Biography & Recognition

Andriy Kotska (1911–1987) is a celebrated master of 20th-century Ukrainian art, honored as one of the painters who gave a distinctive voice to the beauty of the Carpathian region. His canvases are often described as visual poetry, capturing the atmosphere, rhythm, and spirit of Transcarpathia with its colorful villages, blossoming orchards, mountain landscapes, and people rooted in tradition.
