Through the artist’s expressive brushwork and masterful use of color, the painting draws the viewer into a vibrant, sun-drenched scene where roses in full bloom dominate the canvas with their delicate beauty and vivid hues. At the heart of the composition, the roses radiate with tones of crimson, pink, coral, and ivory, their petals rendered in rich impasto layers that give them a lifelike texture and dimensionality. Each flower seems to unfurl with effortless grace, as if caught in the very moment of bloom. The interplay of light and shadow across the petals brings a sense of movement and breath, evoking the gentle breeze of a summer afternoon and the natural rhythm of garden life. Surrounding the roses is a lush backdrop of green foliage painted with a variety of deep and bright shades—from mossy olive to fresh spring green—suggesting the vitality and abundance of nature at its peak. The artist’s strokes vary in direction and pressure, creating a dynamic yet harmonious texture that contrasts beautifully with the softness of the rose blossoms. This complexity in the greenery adds depth and richness to the overall composition, grounding the flowers in a lively environment. Hints of other garden elements peek through the foliage: perhaps the outline of a weathered wooden fence, dappled with sun, or the soft glow of a stone pathway curving away behind the blooms. These subtle touches create a sense of place and intimacy, inviting the viewer to imagine themselves stepping into the garden, overwhelmed by the scent and warmth of the roses, and pausing for a moment of calm. The light in the painting feels unmistakably like that of a golden summer morning or late afternoon, casting warm highlights on the flowers and softening the shadows into deep, cool tones. This gentle light enhances the romantic, almost nostalgic atmosphere of the piece, making it feel both timeless and personal. It’s as if the artist has captured a memory—one that is as fleeting as a petal in the breeze but as powerful as the scent of roses on the air.

*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING ***
* TITLE: "Summer roses in the garden"
* ARTISTS: Vyacheslav Pereta
* SIZE: 18x20 cm/'7.08x7.87 inches'
* MEDIUM: oil, canvas
* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection
* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product

About the artist: I, Pereta Vyacheslav Nikolaevich, was born on March 30, 1977 in the city of Dubno, Rivne region.
From early childhood I spent many hours drawing, which prompted my parents to enroll me in an art school.
Over the years, my passion grew into an internal need, and I began to think about the career of an artist.
