Academy of Arts under Vladimir Makovsky (1915–1917). Later, in the mid-1920s, he studied at the Kiev Art Institute in the studio of Fedir Krichevsky (1925-1927).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1401\" data-end=\"1857\"\u003eFrom about \u003cstrong data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1420\"\u003e1918\u003c\/strong\u003e he participated in exhibitions of the Association of Artists of Kiev. He exhibited in republican shows from the late 1920s and in all-Union exhibitions from the mid-1940s. He held personal exhibitions in Kiev (notably in 1955 and 1966) and elsewhere. He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Presidium of the Verkhovna Rada of the Ukrainian SSR in \u003cstrong data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"1783\"\u003e1968\u003c\/strong\u003e.
