Born in Poltava. He studied at the Art Studio G. Tsyssa (1922-1926) and in the studio XXI M. Burachek (1928-1932). Member of Association of Artists of Red Ukraine (1926). Member of the Union of Artists. Teacher of drawing in art studios. Participants of the Second World War. He participated in numerous regional, republican and all-Union art exhibitions. He was Director of the Poltava Art Museum (1964-1974). His works are kept in museums of Poltava, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Mirgorod, Nikolaev, M., Tbilisi.
