Afanasyev is a participant in regional, republican, all-Union and foreign art exhibitions.\u003cbr\u003eIn the early 1980s, he was a participant in the famous apartment exhibitions organized by Odessa nonconformist artists.\u003cbr\u003eVladimir Afanasyev is called the Bessarabian Modigliani.
