This composition captures a moment where the natural world converges in a still life, evoking themes of vitality, transformation, and the ephemeral beauty of life. At the heart of the painting lies a ripe orange, its textured skin rendered with meticulous detail, showcasing the artist's adept use of color and light. The orange's rich hues of amber and gold are accentuated by subtle highlights, suggesting a gentle illumination from a nearby light source. The fruit's surface, dimpled and slightly glossy, invites the viewer to appreciate its tactile quality, almost sensing the citrus aroma emanating from it. Surrounding the orange, butterflies are depicted in various stages of flight and repose. Their wings, painted with intricate patterns and a palette of warm tones—ranging from deep russet to soft tangerine—mirror the color scheme of the central fruit, creating a cohesive visual narrative. The butterflies' delicate forms and translucent wings are captured with fine brushwork, conveying their fragility and the fleeting nature of their presence. The background of the painting is subdued, employing muted tones that allow the central subjects to stand out prominently. This contrast not only emphasizes the vividness of the orange and butterflies but also creates a sense of depth, drawing the viewer's eye into the scene. The subtle gradations in the backdrop suggest an atmospheric quality, perhaps hinting at an early morning or late afternoon setting, times often associated with transformation and renewal. The composition is balanced, with the orange anchoring the scene and the butterflies providing dynamic movement. This interplay between stillness and motion reflects the duality of life—its moments of calm and its bursts of activity. The artist's choice to depict butterflies, creatures often symbolizing change and the soul, alongside the orange, a fruit associated with health and vitality, imbues the painting with layers of meaning. Executed on hardboard, the painting benefits from the surface's smoothness, allowing for precise detailing and a luminous finish. The medium enhances the vibrancy of the colors and the clarity of the forms, contributing to the overall impact of the artwork.

*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING ***
* TITLE: "Orange and butterflies"
* ARTISTS: Vyacheslav Pereta
* SIZE: 20х25 cm/7.87x9.84 inches'
* MEDIUM: oil, hardboard
* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection
* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product

About the artist: I, Vyacheslav Pereta Nikolaevich, was born on March 30, 1977 in the city of Dubno, Rivne region.
From early childhood I spent many hours drawing, which prompted my parents to enroll me in an art school.
Over the years, my passion grew into an internal need, and I began to think about the career of an artist.
