World War I cut off his studies. Gregory was first arrested, and then forcibly sent to the Austrian army.\u003cbr\u003eHe returned home only in 1918.\u003cbr\u003eThey managed to continue their studies only in 1921 at the Free Academy of Arts in Lviv.\u003cbr\u003eFrom 1923 to 1930 he studied at the art school of A.
