Artist of Ivano-Frankivsk Hood Foundation (1961-1965). He served punishment under Article 62 of Criminal Code of Ukraine (for \"anti-Soviet agitation and propaganda\") - 5 years in camp number 385 (Mordovia) (1965-1970). When released from the camp, married to Daria, niece Stepan Bandera. In 1980s, experiments in the field of easel and monumental sculpture. In 1988, after years of prohibition, organized a solo exhibition of the artist in Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv.
