The artist uses an expressive, impasto technique, with thick layers of oil paint creating a textured, almost tangible surface. The bold brushstrokes and rich color palette give the painting a dynamic, vibrant energy. The sunflowers are the focal point of the composition, standing tall and radiant in the foreground. Their bright yellow petals are illuminated by the sun, while their dark centers add contrast and depth. Each flower seems to have its own character, from fully blossomed heads basking in the sunlight to slightly drooping blooms that suggest a natural, unrefined beauty. The background is a harmonious blend of soft blue and purple tones, suggesting distant mountains or hills that stretch toward the horizon. The sky is painted with light, airy strokes of soft blue, pink, and white, giving the impression of a peaceful, late-summer afternoon. The sky’s pastel hues contrast beautifully with the vivid yellows and oranges of the sunflowers, creating a balanced composition. The village landscape is subtly suggested through abstract forms and colors, leaving room for the viewer’s imagination. Shades of green, blue, and purple in the lower portion of the painting represent the ground and surrounding foliage, painted in loose, spontaneous strokes that add to the overall lively and expressive feel. The artist captures the essence of rural life — simple, natural beauty, filled with light and warmth. The vivid, energetic colors and textural details invite the viewer to experience the countryside’s vibrant charm. The painting radiates a sense of joy and vitality, reminiscent of carefree summer days in a peaceful village setting. At the bottom of the painting, the artist’s signature and date are visible, marking this work as a heartfelt expression of nature's beauty. "Sunflowers in the Village" would bring warmth and positivity to any space, celebrating the timeless allure of rural landscapes and blooming flowers.

*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING ***
* TITLE: "Sunflowers in the village"
* ARTISTS: Ivan Kovalenko
* SIZE: 45x55 cm/'17.71x21.65 inches'
* MEDIUM: oil, cardboard
* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection
* CONDITION: we tried to convey the maximum information with the help of photos about this product

About the artist: Born on March 20, 1953, in the city of Pidgorodn, Dnipropetrovsk region. The sunflowers, painted in golden yellows and deep oranges, dominate the composition. Their thick, layered petals radiate outward, reflecting sunlight and exuding vitality. The centers of the flowers are rich with warm, earthy tones, hinting at the intricate details of their seeds. The impasto technique gives the petals a three-dimensional quality, making them appear almost tangible. The stems and leaves, depicted in various shades of green with hints of ochre and brown, intertwine dynamically. Some leaves are fresh and full of life, while others begin to curl and wilt, illustrating the natural cycle of growth and decay. The brushstrokes in the stems and foliage are bold and deliberate, contributing to the painting’s overall expressive quality. The background is a captivating blend of turquoise, blue, and hints of pink, creating a striking contrast with the warm tones of the sunflowers. The sky-like backdrop is painted with broad, sweeping strokes, adding an abstract quality to the scene. The interplay of warm and cool colors enhances the visual impact, making the sunflowers stand out even more vibrantly. Light plays a crucial role in the composition, as it seems to filter through the petals, casting subtle highlights and shadows that add depth and dimension. The use of color and texture suggests a bright, sunny day, with the sunflowers basking in the light, their sturdy stems reaching upwards. This painting captures not only the beauty of sunflowers but also the essence of nature’s resilience and joy. The raw, expressive brushwork and rich palette evoke a feeling of warmth, nostalgia, and admiration for the simple yet profound beauty found in a field of sunflowers. The composition immediately draws the eye to the golden sea of sunflowers dominating the lower half of the canvas, their round faces turned upward, as if absorbing the warmth and vitality of the sun itself. Each flower head, painted in bold strokes of yellow, orange, and deep red, radiates with individuality, yet collectively they form a rhythmic, almost musical pattern across the field. The artist’s impasto technique intensifies their vitality, giving the flowers a sculptural presence, as though they could almost be touched. Above this radiant field rises a majestic expanse of sky, filled with swirling clouds rendered in pastel tones of soft pinks, creamy whites, aquas, and delicate lavenders. The brushstrokes are broad and expressive, imbuing the heavens with movement and dynamism, echoing the eternal dance between light and atmosphere. The clouds seem alive, rolling and drifting, balancing the intensity of the sunflower field with their airy grace. The contrast between the grounded energy of the flowers and the expansive, ever-shifting sky creates a harmony that feels both grounded and limitless. On the horizon, a band of dark green trees provides a dramatic backdrop, their dense foliage standing in powerful counterpoint to the fluidity of the clouds. The trees are painted with layered greens, blues, and deep earthy tones, their forms abstracted just enough to blend into the natural rhythm of the painting. A small structure with a red-tiled roof peeks through the greenery, anchoring the scene with a human touch and evoking the quiet charm of rural life. This small detail gives the viewer a sense of place, reminding them of the intimate relationship between people and the land that sustains them. The field itself transitions seamlessly from vibrant yellows and oranges of the sunflowers to softer golden hues of wheat or dry grasses, painted with quick, textured strokes. These elements suggest the richness of late summer, a season when the earth offers its bounty in full measure. The ground shimmers with hints of green and blue, interwoven with strokes of ochre and burnt sienna, creating a sense of depth and vitality.

*** ABOUT THIS PAINTING ***
* TITLE: "Field of sunflowers"
* ARTISTS: Oleksiy Ivanyuk
* SIZE: 30x35 cm/'11.81x13.77 inches'
* MEDIUM: oil, canvas
* HAND PAINTED: Original painting from our collection
* CONDITION: Photos provide accurate information about the product.

About the artist: Born March 13, 1954, in the city of Piryatin, Poltava region.
